You retain ownership of content you upload. By submitting material, you grant Deftix Atelier a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with our services. Do not upload illegal or infringing material.
Terms of Service
Effective January 1, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using Deftix Atelier.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Deftix Atelier website, courses, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase courses. By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. Payments and Refunds
All purchases are final except where required by law. Refunds are considered only for technical failures or duplicate charges. Contact support within 14 days of purchase for review.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, or harass other users. Violations may result in permanent termination of access.
7. Intellectual Property
All course content, designs, and branding remain the exclusive property of Deftix Atelier. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any materials without written permission.
8. Disclaimers
Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. Results from our sewing courses depend on individual effort.
9. Limitation of Liability
Deftix Atelier shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding twelve months.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time via account settings.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of material changes.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in San Francisco County.
